Cancellation & Refund Policy

Booking & Payment Policy

  • A deposit of 50% of the total booking value is required to confirm services.
  • The remaining balance must be paid at least 30 days prior to arrival unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • For bookings made within 30 days of arrival, full payment may be required at the time of confirmation.
  • Certain services such as domestic flights, international flights, luxury trains, safari permits, festival departures and special event tickets may require full advance payment and may be non-refundable.

Cancellation Charges

Unless otherwise specified in writing, the following cancellation charges shall apply:

Land Services

  • More than 30 days before arrival: No cancellation charge, excluding non-refundable services.
  • 29 to 15 days before arrival: 30% of the total booking value.
  • 14 to 7 days before arrival: 50% of the total booking value.
  • 6 to 3 days before arrival: 75% of the total booking value.
  • Less than 48 hours before arrival, no-show, or early departure: 100% of the total booking value.

Flights, Trains & Special Services

Domestic flights, international flights, train tickets, safari permits, luxury trains, festival departures and special event services are subject to the cancellation policies of the respective suppliers and may be partially or fully non-refundable.

Amendments

Any amendment to a confirmed booking is subject to availability and may incur additional charges imposed by suppliers.

Unused Services

No refund will be provided for unused hotel nights, sightseeing services, transfers, meals, activities, or any other services included in the confirmed itinerary once travel has commenced.

Refund Process

Eligible refunds will be processed within 15–30 business days following written confirmation of cancellation, subject to banking and supplier procedures.

Force Majeure

Way Of India shall not be held liable for cancellations, delays, modifications, or service disruptions caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, political unrest, strikes, adverse weather conditions, or transportation disruptions.

Any refunds in such circumstances will be subject to the policies of the respective service providers.

Cancellation Requests

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email and shall only become effective upon receipt and acknowledgment by Way Of India.
